The unpronounceably named wine with the gorgeously perfumed nose is widely grown and loved in Germany, Austria, Hungary and especially in Alsace in France. The nose is delicately but intensely and unmistakably perfumed. This richness is also reflected in the smoothly flavoured palate of lycees, apricot and spice. It has a lovely long dry finish. It is especially suited to the complex flavours of Asian food and beautifully complements poultry, fish, shellfish and pork dishes.
