Our bespoke gin is made from scratch in small batches in Tasmania. Carefully distilled from a premium grape base, pure Tasmanian water and a unique blend of Tasmanian grown and internationally sourced botanicals. Our Pinot Barrel Rested gin recently won Gold at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is produced with our award winning Founder’s Release gin with twelve botanicals and three cuts of rose, and rested in Tasmanian Pinot Noir barrels, providing a subtle colour and rich pinot influence. This gin is ideal for creating your favourite cocktail or sipping slowly over ice.
Turner Stillhouse’s Founder and Distiller, Justin Turner, is an American in Tasmania. He married a Tasmanian from a multi-generational farming family and has cultivated an obsession with Tasmanian spirits and food ever since. Born and raised in Northern California, Justin’s family owned and operated a family winery that also produced brandy and other spirits – distilling is in his blood. Justin spent over a decade in New York City working as a finance executive before making the decision to return to his roots and start a craft distillery. He founded Turner Stillhouse to fuse the art of craft spirits and modern technology, and with the ambition to create consistently awesome spirits – each and every time. He brings creativity to his recipes and a unique American approach, while working within the tradition of fine Tasmanian distilling.
