Pure Tasmanian barley is used in a triple pot distilled and charcoal filtered process. The activated charcoal filtration, with the finest grade charcoal removes impurities, done very slowly and carefully allowing the spirit to rest and mellow. The result is velvety smooth yet distinctly clean tasting vodka using the most pure Cape Grim water. This vodka was awarded a Gold Medal in the fifty best vodkas at the 2012 Blind Tasting competition in New York, ranked 4th best in the world; previously awarded Gold at the prestigious 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
