Situated on the foothills of the Great Western Tiers at an altitude of 300 metres, this property was certified organic in 1991. Surrounded by native forests, the soil, water and air are unspoiled by industrial or agricultural pollutants in any way. The 1 hectare of Pinot Noir vines are compost grown, hand tended and hand picked. This, together with crisp nights and a long cool ripening season, has resulted in an elegant and euphoric wine with intense red berry, plum and suggestions of truffle and forest floor; a clean, aromatic and luscious wine.
