This Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and bright with a pale green straw hue. The nose shows tropical fruits, white peach, overtones of passionfruit and splashes of grassy/ herbaceous characters. On the palate there is more complexity than the run-of-the-mill Sauvignon Blanc with layers of passionfruit, kiwifruit and dried herbs. The wine is well balanced, fresh and zesty. It has a racy acidity with a soft finish. Fermented under strict temperature control and using protective handling techniques to maximise retention of fruit flavours.

Tamar Ridge Vineyard
The Tamar Ridge range of wines offers pristine varietal definition, great purity of fruit character, and the refreshing acidity which is the hallmark of genuine cool climate wine. Only grapes grown at our Kayena Vineyard are selected for this range of wines. Located on the western banks of the Tamar River, Northern Tasmania, Kayena Vineyard is planted to a range of cool climate varieties. The majority of the vineyard is planted on gentle undulating slopes with a northerly and north-easterly aspect. All vines are hand-pruned and a significant amount of the fruit produced at Kayena is hand harvested to produce grapes that display pristine fruit flavours and distinctive varietal character.
