Virtually unique in Australia, this beautifully aromatic variety from northern Europe is Pinot Noir crossed with Chasselas Rose cross Muscat Hamburg. It’s Pinot mother makes it highly suitable to Tasmania’s cool-climate conditions. This wine has an appealing nose with rose petal, some tropical fruit characters and a hint of spice. The palate is full and persistent, with yellow plum flavours, good length and structure, lovely silkiness and a refreshing, clean finish. Whilst ideal with sushi, shellfish, Asian style cuisine or rich cheeses, this rare variety has the ability to complement an unusually wide range of foods and is especially suited to spicy cuisine
